Targa roof:
A targa roof is a roof that can be opened in one or more sections. By manually removing a panel of the roof you get a kind of convertible effect. In the past, the (mostly glass) roof sections could be dismantled and, for example, stored in the shed and then reinstalled upon returning home. Nowadays there are also glass roofs that are opened and closed electrically.
The targa roof was invented by Porsche and has been used by Porsche as well as several other car manufacturers (such as Nissan).
