Electric drive

In recent years, as a result of the energy transition, the share of electrically driven cars has been steadily increasing, including fully electrified vehicles, as well as cars with hybrid drivetrains where the petrol or diesel engine, in combination with an HV electric motor, together power the HV battery pack. The abbreviation HV stands for “High Voltage”. The overview on this page lists the components that we may encounter in (partially or fully) electrified drivetrains of current and future passenger cars, commercial vehicles and mobile machinery.
